With this work Manal Al-Harazi and I want to contribute to the empowerment of menstruation by creating an installation that is based on everyday settings and objects. We have achieved this by making utensils and tableware from bioplastics that contain menstruation blood. Our research-based work aims to stimulate the conversations surrounding menstruation.

Met dit werk willen Manal Al-Harazi en ik bijdragen aan de empowerment van menstruatie door een installatie te creëren die gebaseerd is op alledaagse omgevingen en objecten. We hebben dit gedaan door gebruiksvoorwerpen en serviesgoed te maken van bioplastics die menstruatiebloed bevatten. Ons op onderzoek gebaseerde werk heeft als doel het gesprek over menstruatie te stimuleren.
